JAY-Z is joining forces with basketball star LEBRON JAMES to donate 150 musical instruments to students at a music and arts school in Arizona.
The duo will present the gifts to the student body at the Mesa Arts Academy later this week (ends13Feb09) to mark the upcoming NBA All-Star weekend (13-15Feb09), which is being held in Phoenix, Arizona.
Jay-Z and James will also hand over a piano signed by both stars.
Ramon Elias, president of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley, who will benefit from the new instruments, says, "Our kids love to perform, and we know the instruments and musical equipment... will be a great way to motivate the kids to go to class and come to the club after school."
While in the city, the two stars will also host their third annual Two Kings Dinner event on Saturday (14Feb09).
